Heating and Furnace Repair, Installation, & Maintenance in
Phenix City, AL and Surrounding Cities

It takes a lot of effort to become a certified professional heating contractor. Our technicians undergo rigorous factory training to learn about heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. They then take examinations for certification in core competencies and specialties through North American Technician Excellence (NATE), the industry standard for technician certification. Technicians continue training throughout their careers to stay up-to-date in new technology and best practices. Our company is also certified by the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants and licensed to operate in both Alabama and Georgia.

Why do we do this? Because we want to provide the best heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service possible for our business and residential customers.

New Installations

If you have an HVAC system that needs to be upgraded or replaced, we will examine the current system and the characteristics of your building. As your heating contractor, we follow industry standards for evaluating load and sizing new units. We take into account your energy efficiency needs and budget requirements when we make recommendations for equipment.

Ductless Heating

If you live in a building without ductwork, we can install a new system. We follow industry standards for ductwork design. If your building is not suitable for ductwork, or if you need to heat and cool areas that are difficult to reach, there are other options.

Ductless mini-split units with heat pumps provide both heating and cooling. No ductwork is required. In some models, one compressor provides conditioned air to up to four rooms. Each room has its own climate control, so the unit can be switched off when the room is not being used. Cassette blowers mounted on the ceiling or wall are connected to the compressor by a conduit containing wiring and condensation tubes routed through a small hole in the wall to the outside. The unit is quiet because the compressor is outside.

Radiant Heating

Radiant floor heating delivers heat through tubing or wiring installed in or under flooring. Energy radiates up through the floor and is transferred to people and objects in the room just as sunlight warms objects outside. Floor heating can be installed over existing flooring or be built into new flooring. Hydronic systems route heated water through piping. Electric systems use wiring or coils wrapped in water-resistant material.

Radiant heating is up to 15 percent more efficient than heating by conventional radiators. Indoor temperatures can be kept several degrees cooler because heat is concentrated at floor level. Drafts created by blowing air are eliminated.

If you are considering a new installation or need heating repairs, Riley Heating and Air provides detailed estimates and guarantees all work. At Riley, we are cooling your family and warming your hearts.
